Prince William revealed he has been volunteering with Shout, a 24/7 mental crisis hotline, to help people who are struggling with mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. Shout was launched by The Dukes and Duchesses of Cambridge and Sussex last May. Prince William has been vocal about mental health, particularly in the past few years. In 2018, he launched a website “Mental Health at Work” and last year, he openly discussed the loss of his mother and mental health in a BBC documentary. Meanwhile, Princess Kate has been volunteering for “check in and chat” calls for self-isolating and vulnerable individuals as part of the Royal Voluntary Service’s National Health Service Volunteer Responders program.
