Since April, Wuhan has tested over three million residents for COVID-19 and will now focus its testing efforts on the rest of its 11 million population. The goal of this expansion in testing is to get a clear number of asymptomatic cases as businesses and schools reopen. Last weekend, a cluster of infections were reported, coming from previously asymptomatic cases. These cases were the first since the lockdown on the city was lifted on April 8, sparking fears of a second wave. In China, four new cases were reported on May 14, with all cases coming from local transmission.
