Colleges and universities quietly preparing to take all classes online this fall amid COVID-19

Ontario university professors have been told to prepare for online learning for the start of the new school year. This has also begged the question of whether university acceptance deadlines will be moved back as US counterparts have pushed deadlines back. Internationally, universities begin to operate with masks and temperature checks for students. Suggestions of larger classes moving online and moving smaller ones into big theatres have also been made. Linda Franklin, president and CEO of Colleges Ontario, said, “I don’t think there are easy answers yet or quick solutions.”
