Initial steps to reopen Ontario will be released this afternoon, premier says

This afternoon the premier joined with the Minister of Health, Minister of Finance and Minister of Economic will unveil his plan for reopening the province at his daily news conference. The province announced that cases and deaths have been dropping since April 13 with 437 new cases and 24 more deaths on Sunday. Other provinces such as Saskatchewan, New Brunswick and Manitoba have put out reopening plans, loosened physical restrictions and are planning to release their own plans respectively. Mayor John Tory was very cautious, calling on the province to keep in mind that Toronto, a city of three million, has its own needs and wishes to collaborate on reopening strategies.
