On Saturday, the Government of Ontario extended its emergency order until April 23. Premier Doug Ford urges individuals and families to continue practicing proper precautions and help implement measures to stop the spread of COVID-19. These orders include closure of public places, outdoor amenities, and non-essential workplaces; prohibiting gatherings of more than five people; and more stringent enforcement of orders. As of Saturday, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Ontario is 6,648, with 2,858 resolved and 1,517 under investigation.
